The Law Library has lost almost 45% of its funding over the past 6 years due to reduced San Mateo County Superior Court filings. The Law Library desperately needs your help to keep our doors open! Learn more how you can help by visiting the San Mateo County Law Library Foundation.

The San Mateo County Law Library Board of Trustee will meet September 22, 2016 at 12:15pm in the second floor conference room of the San Mateo County Bar Association, 333 Bradford Street, #200, Redwood City, CA 94063. The current and previous board meeting agendas can be found here.

The Law Library offers a free Consumer Law Clinic sponsored by Bay Area Legal Aid every Monday starting at 10AM. RSVP for your spot by calling (650) 358-0745.

The San Mateo County Superior Court offers a Small Claims Advisor to assist with Small Claims every Wednesday starting at 3:30.

The Family Law Facilitator's Office offers a Filing for Divorce Workshop every Tuesday starting at 1:15pm.

Legal Aid Society offers a Landlord/Tenant Clinic every Monday starting at 8:30am.

Bay Area Legal Aid offers a Domestic Violence Restraining Order Clinic every Monday, Wednesday and Friday starting at 9am and Wednesday afternoons starting at 1:30pm

It is our mission to assist all people, whether members of the general public or local attorneys, in their efforts to use the legal system effectively.

Once a month, the San Mateo County Law Library offers a noontime lecture by local prominent attorneys on a wide variety of legal subjects.

'Post-Death Administration: The Basics of Handling Affairs When A Loved One Passes', 12noon to 1pm, Thursday, November 17, 2016.

Every 4th Wednesday of the month between 6pm and 8pm, a lawyer is available for a free, one-on-one, 20 minute consulation with you on the legal issue covered for the month listed below. You must sign up by calling the Law Library at (650) 363.4913.

Wednesday, October 26, 2016: Estate Planning, Probate, Trust Administration, and Medi-Cal issues.
