San Mateo County Law Library strictly enforces basic common sense and generally accepted social etiquettes! Therefore, the following activities are not permitted in the Law Library:
- Talking on cell phones;
- Using the Library's computers for any purpose other than for legal research;
- Soliciting of patrons or staff;
- Harassing of patrons or staff;
- Bringing in pets;
- Eating food;
- Taking photographs or videos; and
- ANY illegal activity.
Conference Room Policy:
$15 per hour of use (excepting student groups or classes). You may call at 650-363-4913 to find out availability and to book time in the conference room. If you book time in the conference room we have a 24 hour cancellation policy. Coffee set up is available for an additional $15. We accept cash or check as payment- we are unfortunately unable to accept credit cards at this time.
Computer Use Policy: Computer use is limited to a free 90 minutes per day. If you need additional time on our computers there will be a charge of $10 per extra hour after the free 90 minutes. Computers are to be used for legal research only.
