How do I book the Confrence Room?
Call the Law Library at (650)363-4913 to check the avalibility of the confrence room first. Please note that there is a $15 charge per hour for use of the confrence room and a 24 hour cancellation policy. The Law Libary accepts cash or check on the day of use.

How do I search for a book?

How can I check out a book?
Only attorneys who are in good standing with the California Bar Association are permitted to check out materials from the Law Library. Most books in the collection are available for a 1 week check out period. Reserve items, however, are available for a 24 hour period with a charge of $10 per item. All CEB MCLE audio CDs are available for a 1 week loan period with a charge of $5 per title. Most items have a $1 per day per item overdue charge. Reserve items, however, have a $10 per day per item overdue charge.

How do I get reference help?
Our reference librarians are available weekdays from 9am to 5pm. They are happy to assist you with your research questions.

How can I get a Lawyer?
The San Mateo County Bar association offers a Lawyer Referral Service for a $35 fee. Contact them online or by phone at (650)369-4149.

Where do I park to visit the Library?
Street parking is avalible at a rate of $1 per hour. Additionally, the Redwood City offers several public parking garages within a few blocks of the library. Please note, however, that the lot behind the library is not avalible for patron or staff use; it is a County carpool lot and you will be ticketed if you park there.
